Demodex sp’dir. Çalışmamız, üniversite öğrencilerinde
Demodex sp. yaygınlığını araştırmak amacıyla
yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla, 62 kız 36 erkek olmak üzere
toplam 100 öğrenci incelenmiştir. Öğrencilerin yüzlerinden;
özellikle burun kökü, çene altı ve alın bölgesinden
selofan-bant yöntemi ve standart yüzeyel
deri biyopsisi (SYDB) yöntemiyle alınan örneklerin
mikroskobik incelemesi yapılmıştır. Öğrencilerin 11
(%11)’inde Demodex folliculorum saptanmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Demodex sp. is an obligatory ectoparasite
of pilosebaceous units in humans. This study was
carried out in order to investigate the frequency of Demodex
sp. among high school students. For this purpose
62 women and 36 men, making a total of 100 students,
were studied. Standardized skin surface biopsy
(SSSB) and Cellophane-tape preparations taken from
their face, especially at the base of the nose, underside
of the jaw and the side of the forehead, were examined
microscopically. Demodex folliculorum was found to
