Sosyal Sermayenin Unsurları ve Ekonomik Kalkınmayla İlişkisi

Abstract

Kişi ve kurumların güvene dayalı ilişkilerinin ekonomik açıdan incelenmesi, sosyal sermaye olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Ülkelerin kalkınma sürecinde sosyal sermayenin olumlu etkileri bulunmaktadır. Ekonomik kalkınmayı sadece fiziki sermaye zenginliği veya fakirliğiyle açıklayabilmek mümkün değildir. Bu nedenle ekonomik kalkınmanın istenilen seviyeye ulaşabilmesi için kalkınmaya yeni bir boyut getiren sosyal sermayenin neyi ifade ettiği analiz edilip, sosyal sermaye seviyesinin yükseltilmesi gerekmektedir. Sosyal sermaye ve sosyal sermayenin ekonomik kalkınmaya olan etkilerinin incelenmesi bu çalışmanın temel konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Bu çerçevede bu çalışma ekonomik kalkınma, sosyal sermaye ve unsurları, sosyal sermaye ve ekonomik kalkınma ilişkisi bölümlerinden oluşmaktadır.

The examination of relations among persons and institutions which based on confidence in terms of economic situation is known as social capital. On path to economic growth of countries, there are positive effects of social capital. It is not possible to explain economic growth only through physical capital richness or poverty. Thus, in order to have a desired level of economic growth, the social capital which brings a new dimension to social capital should be improved. Social capital and the examination of its effects on economic growth constitutes the basic topic of this study. So, this study is formed by the parts of economic growth, social capital and components, the relations of social capital and economic growth.
