| dc.description | Frustrated with the aims on the Ottoman Empire during the first world war,
the Allied Powers got into the act again in the following years. In that period, except
military activities, some activities were carried out in order to organize the public
against the occupants. Playing a crucial role in that organisation, Mehmet Akif went
to Anatolia in order to take part in the National Struggle. Mehmet Akif contributed
significantly to the National Strugge through the sermons that he preached in
various parts of Anatolia. One of the most important sermons was the Nasrullah
Pasha Mosque sermon. In this sermon, Mehmet Akif drew attention to put up a fight
in unity and solidarity against the occupants and based his sermons on religious
foundations. By being delivered to all Anatolia and all the fronts, this sermon of
Mehmet Akif who also explained the Treaty of Sevres on the lectern showed effect on
the public and the soldiers in a short period of time. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | I. Dünya Savaşı’nda Osmanlı Devleti üzerinde amaçlarına ulaşamayan
İtilaf Devletleri, ilerleyen yıllarda yeniden harekete geçtiler. Bu dönemde askeri
faaliyetlerin dışında, toplumu işgalcilere karşı örgütlemek amacıyla çeşitli
faaliyetlerde bulunuldu. Bu örgütlenmede önemli rol oynayan Mehmet Akif, Milli
Mücadele’ye katılmak amacıyla Anadolu’ya geçti. Mehmet Akif, Anadolu’nun çeşitli
yerlerinde verdiği vaazlarıyla Milli Mücadele’ye önemli katkılarda bulundu. Bu
vaazların en önemlilerinden birisi Nasrullah Paşa Camii vaazıdır. Mehmet Akif, bu
vaazında işgalcilere karşı birlik ve beraberlik içinde mücadele verilmesine dikkat
çekti ve vaazlarını dini temellere dayandırdı. Kürsüde Sevr Antlaşmasını da izah
eden Mehmet Akif’in bu vaazı, bütün Anadolu’ya ve cephelere dağıtılarak kısa
sürede halk ve askerler üzerinde etkisini gösterdi. | en_US |
