I. Kademede Müzik Derslerine İlişkin Öğretmen Görüşleri

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı ilköğretim I. Kademede Müzik dersine giren öğretmenlerin kendi formasyonlarına dayalı olarak müzik etkinliklerini algılamalarını, müzik etkinliklerinin uygulanmasına yönelik görüşlerini ve müzik etkinliklerinin gerçekleşmesine ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın evreni, Uşak ili merkez ilçede İlköğretim I. Kademe okullarında görev yapan 460 öğretmendir. Örneklem, 230 öğretmendir. İstatistiksel işlemler, 171 anketten elde edilen veriler üzerinde yapılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin pek çoğu, pedagojik formasyondan yoksun olduklarını ve bu alanda hizmet-içi eğitime ihtiyaç duyduklarını belirtmişlerdir. Araştırmanın diğer bir sonucu ise; öğretmenlerin çoğu, öğretim uygulamalarının müzik dersiyle ilgisiz olduğuna işaret etmektedirler. Öğretmenlerin büyük bir çoğunluğu, sınıf öğretmenleri yerine müzik öğretiminde uzmanlaşmış branş öğretmenlerinin, bu dersi vermesi gerektiğini belirtmişlerdir.

The purpose of this study is to examine perceived pedagogic knowledge of elementary grade teachers who teach music course, perceived self-compedence in practice and perceived problems in practice of music instruction. The population of this study consists of 460 elementary grade 1-5 teachers who work in the central district of Uşak. The sample of the study includes 230 elementary teachers. The useable returns total 171. It is found that the majority of teachers report that they lack in pedagocical knowlge and they demand insevice education in music education.It is also found that the majority of teachers report that instructional practices are out of touch with the objectives of the course. The majority of teachers suggest that instead of grade teachers, subject teachers who were specilized in music instruction should give the course.
