| dc.description | In this research, the effect of enriched e-books within the scope of FATİH Educational Project on the seventh grade students’ attitude, motivation and achievement on the subject of equality and equation towards mathematics is observed and suggestions are made according to the results obtained. Quasi-experimental model is utilized in the research. The experimental group is composed of 40 seventh grade students of two different groups from secondary school (20 experimental group and 20 control group students). In control group, in the process of teaching equality and equation subjects, the teaching is carried out with the books and education programme determined by the Board of Education and Discipline. In addition to that, enriched e- book application is used in experimental group. To obtain data in the research, Mathematics Attitude Scale, Instructional Materials Motivation Survey and Mathematics Achievement Pre-test and Post-test developed by the researcher himself related to equality and equation subjects are utilized. The data obtained is analyzed by Independent Sample t-test on the condition that they demonstrates normal distribution and Mann Whitney U-Test and Non Parametric ANCOVA (Quade Method) is used for analyzing on the condition that the data don’t demonstrate a normal distribution. At the end of data analysis, it is observed that enriched e-book applications don’t have any effect on the achievement and motivation of students in mathematics statistically, but have effect on attitude to mathematics statistically. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Bu tez çalışmasında, eşitlik ve denklem konusunun öğretiminde FATİH Projesi kapsamındaki Z-kitap uygulamasının 7. sınıf öğrencilerinin matematik dersine yönelik tutum, motivasyon ve başarısına etkisi incelenmiş ve elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda öneriler geliştirilmiştir. Araştırmada yarı-deneysel model kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 40 (20'si deney ve 20'si kontrol) ilköğretim yedinci sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmuştur. Kontrol grubunda eşitlik ve denklem konusunun öğretimi sürecinde MEB tarafından belirlenen ders kitapları ve program doğrultusunda öğretim yapılmış, deney grubunda ise buna ilave olarak Z-kitap uygulaması ile öğretim yapılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplamak için, Matematik Dersine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği, Öğretim Materyaline İlişkin Motivasyon Ölçeği ile araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen eşitlik ve denklem konusuna ilişkin Matematik Başarı Testi ön-test ve son-test olarak uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler normal dağılım göstermesi durumunda bağımsız örneklem t-testi, normal dağılım göstermemesi durumunda ise Mann-Whitney U-testi ve Non-Parametric ANCOVA (Quade Method) kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizi sonucunda Z-kitap uygulamalarının öğrenci ders başarısı ve motivasyon üzerinde istatistiksel olarak etkili olmadığı, matematik dersine yönelik tutum üzerinde ise istatistiksel olarak etkili olduğu görülmüştür. | en_US |
