Dilenciler ve Dilencilik (Sosyolojik Bir Araştırma)

Abstract

“Dilenci” ve “dilencilik” toplumsal yaşamın değişmeyen, fakat ayrıntıda kalan özelliklerinden birisidir. Hemen herkesin haberdar olduğu bu olgu, çok farklı biçim ve içerikte açığa çıkabilmektedir. Burada temel soru “Dilenci gerçekten muhtaç olan fakat ihtiyacını karşılayamadığı için dilenmek zorunda kalan kimse midir?” sorusudur. Bu araştırma ile, dilencinin kimler olduğu ve dilenciliğin niçin/nasıl yürütüldüğü tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır.

Although mendicants and mendicancy are one of the indispensible part of social life, always remained as a detail. This fact, almost everybody is aware of, manifests itself in many forms and contents. In this context, the basic question whether the begging person is really poor and to meet his/her need have to beg or not. In this survey, it is aimed at finding out who the beggars are and why and how they maintain their ongoing status.
