Ektopik pankreas olgusu ve literatürün gözden geçirilmesi

Abstract

Pankreas dokusunun konjenital olarak normal anatomik yerleşim yerinin dışında bulunmasına heterotopik ya da ektopik pankreas adı verilir. Olguların çoğunluğu asemptomatik seyirlidir. Ancak semptomatik olgularda lezyon sıklıkla mide ve duodenumda yerleşim gösterir. Olgularda tanı çoğunlukla rastlantısal olarak başka bir nedenle yapılan laparotomilerle konur. Kesin tanı ise lezyonun histopatolojik incelemesiyle yapılabilir. Semptomatik olsun ya da olmasın tüm ektopik pankreas vakalarında eksizyon yapılmalıdır.

Ectopic pancreas or heterotopia is a congenital anomaly that is defined as pancreatic tissue which is not found in normally situated place. Most patients with ectopic pancreas are asymptomatic, however of those patients with any clinical symptom, the lesions are usually found in the stomach or duodenum. The diagnosis of ectopic pancreas is usually made incidentally at laparotomy that is performed for another problem. The precise nature of the lesion should be performed with pathological evaluation. The lesion should be excised in all patients with/without any symptom.
