Bir kedide sümüklü böcek ilacı (metaldehit) zehirlenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada; özel bir veteriner kliniğine muayene ve tedavi amaçlı getirilen 4 yaşında dişi kedi de metaldehit (molluskisid) zehirlenmesi konu edilmiştir. Anamnez de kusma, halsizlik ve durgunluk bulunan kedinin klinik, hematolojik ve biyokimyasal bulguları sonucunda metaldehit zehirlenmesi teşhisi konulmuştur. Bu olgu sunumunun amacı; dışarı çıkan ev ve sokak kedilerinde, sümüklü böcek ve salyangoz mücadelesinde yaygın olarak çoğunlukla yem şeklinde kullanılan metaldehit ile zehirlenmelerin göz önünde bulundurulmasıdır.

In this study; a metaldehyde (molluscicide) poisoning in 4 year old female cat which brought to a private veterinary clinic for medical examination and treatment has been subject. Results of clinical, haematological and biochemical findings of cat which has vomiting, weakness and fatigue in medical history; diagnosed as metaldehyde poisoning. The aim of this case report is consideration poisoning of street and indoor cats which goes out sides with metaldehyde which is used widely as slug and snail bait to control.
