Yenilenen İlkögretim Türkçe Programlarındaki 6. Sınıf Okuma Alanı Hedefleri İle İlgili Ögretmen Görüşleri ve Degerlendirilmesi
Abstract
Bu arastirma, 2006-2007 egitim-ögretim yilinda ülke genelinde uygulanmaya baslanan Yenilenen Ilkögretim Türkçe Programlarindaki 6. Sinif Okuma Alani Hedefleri ile ilgili ögretmen görüslerini belirlemek ve degerlendirmek amaciyla yapilmistir.
Arastirma, Afyonkarahisar, il merkezi ve ilçelerinde görev yapan 175 Türkçe ögretmeni üzerinde gerçeklestirilmistir.
Ögretmenlerin programin geneline yönelik ve 6.sinif okuma alani hedeflerine yönelik görüslerini belirlemek amaciyla olusturulan veri toplama araci, kisisel bilgilerle ilgili üç soru, programin geneline yönelik bes soru ve 6. sinif okuma alani hedeflerine yönelik yirmi sorudan olusmaktadir. Veri toplama aracinin uygulanmasindan sonra elde edilen veriler, cinsiyet, kidem ve mezun olunan okul degiskenleri açisindan analiz edilmistir. Verilerin analizinde aritmetik ortalama, frekans, yüzde, standart sapma; ögretmenlerin görüslerinde farklilik olusturabilecek iki degiskenin test edilmesinde bagimsiz gruplar için t-testi ve ikiden fazla degiskenin test edilmesinde ise tek yönlü varyans analiz (ANOVA) testi kullanilmistir. Elde edilen bulgular tablolar halinde sunulmus ve yorumlanmistir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre ögretmenler, program degisikligi konusunda, yeni programin mevcut sorunlari çözebilecegi, ögrencilerin ilgi ve ihtiyaçlarina cevap verebilecegi görüsündedirler. Bu hususta, ögretmenlerin programin geneline yönelik görüslerinde cinsiyet, kidem ve mezun olunan okul degiskenleri açisindan anlamli bir farklilik bulunmamistir. Arastirmaya katilan ögretmenlerin Yenilenen Ilkögretim Türkçe Programlarindaki 6. sinif okuma alani hedeflerine yönelik görüşlerinde de cinsiyet, kidem ve mezun olunan okul değişkenleri açisindan anlamli bir farklilik bulunamamistir. With this research, it was intended to determine and evaluate views of teachers relating to Primary Education II. Stage New Turkish Education Program 6th Class Reading Area that was begun to be applied throughout the country in 2006-2007 education year.
The research was performed upon 175 Turkish teachers working in Afyonkarahisar, provincial centre and districts thereof.
Data gathering instrument developed to determine views of the teachers relating to generality of the program and targets of 6th class reading area was composed of three questions concerning personal information, five questions concerning generality of the program and twenty questions concerning targets of 6th class reading area. The data obtained after implementation of data gathering instrument was analyzed in terms of gender, seniority and graduated school variables. Arithmetic average, frequency, percentage, standard deviation were used in analysis of the data; while t-test was used for independent groups in testing of two variables that may lead to differences in views of teachers, single variance analysis (ANOVA) test was used in testing of variables more than two. The findings were presented in tables and then interpreted. According to these findings, the teachers are in the opinion about
program change that the new program may solve the existing problems and meet the interests and needs of students. In this matter, a considerable difference in terms of gender, seniority and graduated school variables was not found in views of the teachers relating to generality of the program. Likewise, there was not any considerable difference in views of the teachers attending the research relating to targets of Primary Education II.
