Afyonkarahisar İli Çay İlçesinin Mikrotoponimleri Ve Dil İncelemesi

Abstract

Mikrotoponim, toponiminin bir alt kolu olup belirli bir yerleşim yerinin sadece sakinleri tarafından bilinen dere, tepe, pınar, kaya, mağara vb. adlandırmaların kökenini, yapısını araştıran bir bilim dalıdır. Bu çalışma, Çay ilçesinin mikrotoponimlerinin incelendiği bir toponim çalışmasıdır. Amaç, ilçenin yeradı verme kültürünü oraya çıkarmak ve unutulmakta olan yeradlarını kayıt altına almaktır. Beş bölümden oluşan çalışma, sahadan derlenen malzemeden ortaya çıkartılmıştır. Yöreden toplam 1315 yeradı derlenmiştir. Derlenen yeradları tür açısından ve leksikosemantik açıdan değerlendirildikten sonra, yeradlarının dil incelemesi üzerinde durulmuştur. Yeri geldiğinde adlandırmalara bağlı kalarak yeradlarıyla ilgili halk arasında yaşayan efsanelere ve inançlara da yer verilmiştir.

Microtoponym which is a sub-branch of toponymic, investigates origin of the geographical structures such as stream, springs, rocks, caves etc. that are known by only the inhabitants of a residential area. This study is a toponym study which the microtoponyms of Çay town were examined. The aim is to bring out the culture of naming locations and also to record the locations’ names that getting forgotten. This study which has five parts is constituted by using the materials compiled from the area. Totally, a thousand third hundred and fifteen location names were compiled. After assessing these location names from the point of version and lexicosemantic, it is focused on the linguistic study of the location names. It also provides information on topics such as the culture of local people, their superstitious beliefs and the social life by basing on the location names.
