| dc.description | Continuous improvement in technology helps society to achieve quickly to the desired information and makes things easier with eliminating the limitations of time and space. Web 2.0 technology that is one of the most important developments in human life has become imperative. This compulsory position has also led to the emergence of new training formations. Educational social networking applications not only offer an important contribution in all areas of education but also acquire an important place for the career development of teachers sine qua non for development of the school and student success. Teachers who cannot be in contact with colleagues in busy schedule have brought feelings of sharing, communication, cooperation to the virtual environment through educational social networks.
The main aim of this activity is to test the effectiveness of the educational social network in career development of the teachers working in the same school. Another aim is to measure the adequacy of the educational social network that was used. The scope of the study, a social network site can be accessed from the address “www.mavikurdele.net” developed by Gündüz (2014). The application was used by 34 teachers at a high school in the province of Afyonkarahisar in the first semester of 2015-2016 Education year for 6 weeks. After the application, the data was collected through the scale of social networks used in education, social networking usability survey and the data record of educational social network. While examining the data, descriptive statistics was used.
As a result, teachers who used educational social network expressed that the features of social networking sites is useful for career development of the teachers. Moreover, teachers using educational social network think It can be used for communication, collaboration, sharing of educational materials. | dc.description.abstract | Teknolojideki sürekli gelişim, toplumların istenilen bilgiye hızlı bir şekilde ulaşmasını sağlamış ve zaman ve mekân sınırlılıklarını ortadan kaldırarak insanlara kolaylık sağlamıştır. İnsan hayatındaki en önemli gelişmelerden biri olan Web 2.0 teknolojisi insan hayatında zorunluluk haline gelmiştir. Bu zorunluluk eğitimde de yeni oluşumlar ortaya çıkmasına sebep olmuştur. Eğitsel sosyal ağ uygulamaları eğitim öğretimin her alanında önemli katkılar sunduğu gibi, bununla birlikte okulların gelişimi ve öğrenci başarısı için olmazsa olmaz olan öğretmen mesleki gelişiminde de önemli bir yer edinmektedir. Öğretmenler yoğun iş temposu içerisinde iletişim içerisinde bulunamadığı meslektaşlarıyla eğitsel sosyal ağlar aracılı ile paylaşma, iletişim, işbirliği duygularını sanal ortamlara taşımıştır.
Bu çalışmada Gündüz (2014) tarafından geliştirilen eğitsel sosyal ağın öğretmenlerin mesleki gelişimlerini sağlamada etkililiğinin incelenmesi ve bir grup öğretmen tarafından uygulanarak tespit edilmesidir. Çalışma kapsamında, kullanılan eğitsel sosyal ağa www.mavikurdele.net adresinden erişilebilmektedir. Araştırma 2015- 2016 eğitim öğretim yılı 1. döneminde Afyonkarahisar ilinde Türk Telekom Fen Lisesinde görev yapan 34 öğretmen ile gerçekleştirilen deneysel araştırmada eğitsel sosyal ağ sitesi 6 hafta süre ile kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonrasında veriler sosyal ağların eğitsel kullanım ölçeği, sosyal ağ kullanışlılık anketi ve eğitsel sosyal ağ log verileri aracılığı ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin incelenmesinde betimsel istatistiklerden yararlanılmıştır.
Çalışma sonucunda araştırmaya katılan öğretmenler geliştirilen eğitsel sosyal ağ sitesinin mesleki gelişimlerini sağlamada yararlı olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Öğretmenler eğitsel sosyal ağın iletişim, işbirliği ve kaynak ve materyal paylaşımı konusunda kullanılabileceğini, kullanımının kolay olduğunu ve tasarım olarak uygun olduğu görüşünü belirtmişlerdir. Bununla birlikte uygulamada öğrenme ve öğretme teknikleri hakkında farklı bilgiler edindiklerini ve tartışmalara katılmalarının yeni bilgiler edinmelerini sağladığını belirtmişlerdir. | en_US |
