Sosyal bilgiler 5. sınıf ders kitaplarının öğretmen görüşleri açısından değerlendirilmesi: Afyonkarahisar örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, 2018’ de değişen Sosyal Bilgiler öğretim programıyla birlikte kullanılmaya başlanan 5. Sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler ders kitabın öğretmen görüşlerine göre incelenmesidir. Çalışmada Afyonkarahisar merkezinde ve merkeze bağlı köy ve mahallelerde görev yapan 120 Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmeni ile anket çalışması, 12 öğretmen ile de mülakat yapılmıştır. Böylelikle araştırmada nitel ve nicel yöntemlerin birlikte kullanıldığı karma yöntemden yararlanılmıştır. Öğretmen görüşlerinin alınması ile elde edilen bilgilere göre; 2018’de kullanılmaya başlanan 5. Sınıf ders kitabının bir önceki yıl kullanılan ders kitabına nazaran gelişme gösterdiği görülmüştür. Ancak, görseller, yaş seviyesine uygunluk, örneklerin yaşamla bağlantısı, çağdaş öğretim yöntemlerine daha fazla yer verilmesi, etkinliklerin gelişim özelliklerine uygun olması gibi geliştirilmesi gereken taraflarının olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the 5th grade social studies textbook, which has been used in 2018 with the changing social studies curriculum, according to teachers opnions. In the study a survey was contucted with 120 social studies teachers and 12 teachers were interviwed into center of were interviwed in the center of Afyonkarahisar and the villages and neighborhoods. Thus, the mixed methods are used in the research has beeb utilized. According to the information obtained from the teachers opinions. It was seen that the 5th lesson textbook, which was used in 2018, showed in the last year, however, it is conduded that there are aspects that need to be developed such as visuals, conformity to age level, connection of samples with life, giving more place to contemporary taching methods etc.
