Müzik sosyolojisi üzerine

Abstract

İnsanlığın ilk dönemlerinden beri gerek birey gerekse toplum yaşamında bir yeri olan müziğin, zaman içinde insanlar ve toplum üzerindeki etkilerinin anlaşılması ile “toplum bilimi” olarak bilinen “sosyoloji” bilim dalı içinde yer aldığı görülmektedir. XIX. yüzyılda gündeme gelen ve hızlı bir gelişme gösteren müzik sosyolojisi ile müzikte toplumsal sınıflamalar, müziğin hitap ettiği kesimler, müziğin toplumsal yönlendirmedeki etkileri ve müziğin oluşumu ile ilgili standartlar gibi pek çok alanda literatüre yeni yapılar kazandırılmıştır. Hazırlanan bu çalışmada müzik sosyolojisinin dünyadaki gelişimi incelenmiştir. Öncelikle müzik sosyolojisinin tarihsel süreç içindeki gelişimine yer verilen çalışmada, dünya çapında müzik sosyolojisi alanında yapılan çalışmalara da yer verilmiş ve müzik sosyolojisi ile ilgili literatürde yer alan kavramlara değinilmiştir. Çalışmanın temel amacı müziğin toplumla iç içe olduğunu gözler önüne sererek toplumsal yapıda müziğin ne denli etkili olduğunu ortaya koymaktır.

It is seen that music, which has a place in both individual and social life since the early days of humanity, has been included in the field of "sociology", known as "social science" with the understanding of its effects on people and society over time. With the sociology of music, which has been brought to the agenda in the 19th century and has developed rapidly, new structures have been brought to the literature in many fields such as social classifications in music, the sections addressed by music, the effects of music in social orientation and standards related to the formation of music. The development of the sociology of music in the world prepared in this study were examined. First place to study the historical process of development in music sociology, sociology of place in the work done in the field of music and has been referred to the concepts in the literature about the sociology of music. The main purpose of the study is to reveal how effective music is in social structure by revealing that music is intertwined with society.
