Millî Mücadele’nin batı cephesi’nde levazım ve ikmal faaliyetleri

Abstract

Türk İstiklal Harbi‟nin önemli dönüm noktalarının yaşandığı Batı Cephesi‟nin tarihimizde oldukça ayrı bir yeri ve önemi vardır. Batı Cephesi‟nde verilen mücadeleler neticesinde elde edilen kazanımlar, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Devleti‟nin kurulmasına giden sürecin askeri unsurlarını oluşturmuştur. Söz konusu kazanımların arkasında kolay bir süreç yaşanmamıştır. Bu dönemde Türk kuvvetlerinin cephe gerisindeki ikmal, iaşe ve sevkiyat faaliyetleri son derece zor koşullar altında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Dolayısıyla bu çalışmada amaç, Batı Cephesi‟nde ikmal, iaşe ve sevkiyat faaliyetlerinin sağlanması noktasında yürütülen çalışmalar ile ihtiyaçlar, üretilen çözümler ve kullanılan kaynaklar olmuştur. Çalışmanın hazırlanmasında faydalanılan kaynaklar esas itibarıyla Millî Savunma Bakanlığı Arşiv ve Askeri Tarih Başkanlığı tarafından hazırlanan Askeri Tarih Belgeleri Dergisi, Türk İstiklal Harbi Serisi, Başkanlık Cumhuriyet Arşivi, konuya dair araştırma inceleme eserleri ile literatürde yer alan başlıca tezlerden oluşmaktadır. İzlenecek yöntem, bahsi geçen kaynaklar doğrultusunda, cephede yer alan askeri birliklerin ihtiyaçları nerelerden, nasıl ve ne kadar temin edilip, bu ihtiyaçların cepheye hangi yollarla sevk edildiği ve bu süreçte hangi zorluklarla mücadele edilip, bunların ne ölçüde çözüme kavuşturulduğunun tespit edilmesi olacaktır.

The Western Front, where the important turning points of the Turkish War of Independence were experienced, has an extraordinary place and importance in our history. The gains obtained as a result of the struggles on the Western Front formed the military elements of the process leading to the establishment of the Republic of Turkey. There was no easy process behind these gains. During this period, the supply, subsistence and shipment activities of the Turkish forces behind the front were carried out under extremely difficult conditions. Therefore, the aim of this study has been the works carried out at the point of providing supply, subsistence and shipment activities on the Western Front, as well as the needs, solutions produced and resources used. The sources used in the preparation of the study mainly consist of the Journal of Military History Documents prepared by the Ministry of National Defense Archive and Military History, the Turkish War of Independence Series, the Presidency Republic Archive and research studies on the subject and the main theses in the literature. The method to be followed will be to determine from where, how and how much the needs of the military units at the front are supplied, in what ways these needs are conveyed to the front, and to what extent they are tackled and resolved in this process, in line with the aforementioned sources.
