Mavisel Yener’in “sonsuzluk kütüphanesi” adlı romanının sözvarlığı açısından incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı Mavisel Yener’in “Sonsuzluk Kütüphanesi” adlı eserinde yer alan sözvarlığı ögelerini ve kullanım sıklıklarını incelemektir. Betimsel nitelik taşıyan bu çalışmada tarama yönteminden faydalanılmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde sıklık ve yüzde hesaplamaları yapılmıştır. Çalışmada “Türkçenin Sözvarlığı” ana kategori; “atasözleri”, “deyimler”, “ikilemeler”, “yansıma sözcük”, “yansıma ikileme”, “ilişki sözleri” ise alt kategoriler olarak belirlenmiştir. Kitap 27 bölümden oluşmaktadır. Bölümlerde bulunan okuma metinlerindeki sözcükler tek tek incelenmiş, birebir cümle ve paragraflar üzerinde durulmuştur. Her bir bölüm için sözvarlığını oluşturan dilsel öğelerin sıklık ve yüzdelerinin belirtildiği tablolar oluşturulmuştur. Bu bağlamda yazarın sık kullandığı sözvarlığı ögeleri göz önüne alınarak yorumlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada, yazarın romanlarında sözvarlığının çeşitli ögelerine yer verdiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu ögeler arasında en çok deyim, ardından ikileme, ilişki sözleri, yansıma sözcüklerin geldiği belirlenmiştir. Atasözleri ve yansıma ikilemelerin ise en az kullanılan sözvarlığı ögeleri olduğu saptanmıştır.

The aim of this study is to examine the vocabulary items and their frequency of use in Mavisel Yener's "Sonsuzluk Kütüphanesi". In this descriptive study, screening method was used.Frequency and percentage calculations were used to analyze the data. The main category of the study is "Turkish Vocabulary"; “proverbs”, “idioms”, “reduplications”, “reflection word”, “reflection reduplication” and “relationship words” were determined as subcategories. The book consists of 27 chapters. The reading texts in the chapters were examined one by one and emphasis was placed on verbatim sentences and paragraphs. Tables were created for each section indicating the frequencies and percentages of the linguistic elements that make up the vocabulary. In this context, it was interpreted by taking into account the vocabulary items frequently used by the author. In this study, it was concluded that the author included various elements of vocabulary in his novels. It was determined that among these elements, the most common words were idioms, followed by reduplication, relationship words, and reflection words. It has been determined that proverbs and reflection reduplication are the least used vocabulary items.
