Türkiye Et Üretiminin Mevcut Durumu, Sorunları ve Çözüm Önerileri

Abstract

Türkiye et üretimi 2008 yılı itibariyle 1603 bin ton olarak gerçekleşmiştir. Bu miktar üretimde bulunan hayvancılığın kendine özel birçok sorunu halen çözüm beklemektedir. Örneğin, hayvanların verim düzeyleri istenilen düzeye çıkarılamamıştır. Girdi fiyatları oldukça yüksek seyretmektedir ki, hayvan yetiştiricileri artan üretim maliyetleri nedeniyle her geçen gün sektörden uzaklaşmaktadırlar. Üretilen hayvan ve hayvansal ürünler gerektiği gibi ihracat şansı yakalayamazken, bu ve benzeri ürünlerin ithalat miktarları her geçen gün artmaktadır. Bu derlemenin amacı Türkiye hayvancılığının içinde bulunduğu durumun ortaya konulması, sorunlarının saptanması ve bu sorunlara çözüm önerileri getirilmesidir.

Meat production in Turkey in 2008 was recorded as 1.603.000 tons. Livestock sector that producing such amount of animal products has a lot of special problems is still waiting solutions. For example, productivity in animal production is insufficient. Because of high input prices many producers are gradually leaving the animal production. The export chance of animal products is still low, but importation of animal products is gradually rising. The main purposes of this article were to reveal the present situation of the livestock production in Turkey, to determine the problems and to produce proper solution proposals.
