Safahat’ta Yer Alan Güzel Sanatlar Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Mehmet Âkif, yaşadığı devrin siyasî ve sosyal hayatını çok başarılı bir şekilde işlediği için daha çok bu yönüyle ele alınmıştır. Safahat isimli şiir kitabında, sanat hakkında düşüncelerini de açıklamıştır. O sanatta kolektif bir ruh arar. Bu ruhu kısmen Osmanlı mimarîsinde gördüğümüz kanaatindedir. Bizde güzel sanatlar hep eğlence tarafı ile ele alınmıştır. Bu yanlıştır. Sanatın bir gayesi olmalıdır. Sanat, insanın ve toplumun yükselmesine hizmet etmelidir. Bunun gerçekleşmesi için ilim ve sanat adamlarına önemli görevler düşmektedir.

Because of Mehmet Âkif has performed political and social life of period that he lived very succesfully, he is especially, evaluated with his this respect. In his poet book named Safahat, he also reveals his views about art. He looks for a collective spirit in the art. He believes that this spirit is seen in Ottoman architecture partially. In our country, generally, the fine arts are performed with amusing respects. This is wrong. The art should has an aim. The art should serve to promote the human and society. From this point of view the scientist and the artists have important duties.
