Sarp Sınır Kapısının Hopa’da Yaşayan Ailelere Etkileri
Abstract
Border crossing impact many different areas of life in the regions in which
they are found. One such border crossing is the Georgia/Sarp Border Crossing. In
addition to the lifting of visa requirements for Georgia, the Sarp border corssing
has also been opened. Residents of Hopa have been positively and negatively
affected by this change. This study will look at the effect on the families of Hopa of
free bilateral crossings with the opening of the Georgia/Sarp border crossing. The
ways in which the economy, education, health and tourism sectors have been shaped
by it will be discussed. This study will present theoretical information aboot the
family before presenting the findings of the research. This study is a sociological
study. An in-depth interview technique has been devised for use in this study as
qualitative research.
