Termal otel işletmelerinde islami turizm konseptinin uygulanabilirliği: Yönetsel bir bakış açısı

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, Afyonkarahisar ilinde faaliyet gösteren turizm işletme belgeli termal otel işletmelerinin Helal turizme yönelik uygulamalarının yönetici bakış açısıyla değerlendirilmesidir. Araştırma amaçlı veriler yarı-yapılandırılmış mülakat tekniğiyle, Afyonkarahisar’da faaliyet gösteren beş yıldızlı termal otel işletmeleri yöneticileriyle yapılan görüşmeler neticesinde elde edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; termal otel işletmelerinde helal standartlarına uygunluk sağlama tasarım aşamasında planlanması gereken bir durumdur. Bununla birlikte; termal otel işletmelerinde helal sertifikanın sadece belirli alanlarda (restoran vb.) alınabileceği vurgulanmış ve termal otel işletmelerinin özellikle tedarik süreçlerinde helal standartlarından taviz verdikleri yöneticiler tarafından belirtilmiştir.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the Islamic tourism practices of thermal hotels in Afyonkarahisar in terms of managerial point of view. Within this scope, the data was obtained with semi-structured interview method, which is applied on managers of five star thermal hotels. Content Analysis is used in the data transcription process. The transcribed data was coded by manifest and latent content within the aim of the study in order to determine themes. The results of the study indicate that the congruity of thermal hotels to Islamic standards must be planned in the design phase. However, it has been emphasized that the halal certificate can only be taken in certain areas such as restaurant etc. in thermal hotels, and they made concessions to halal standards in supply chain processes.
