Haber Gazetesi’ne Göre Afyonkarahisar’ın Sosyo-Ekonomık ve Kültürel Durumu (1938/1948)

Abstract

Bu arastirmanin amaci Haber Gazetesi taranmak suretiyle Afyon’un sosyal, ekonomik yapisi hakkinda bilgi elde etmektir. Arastirmada kullanilan materyal 1938-1948 yillari arasinda çikan Haber gazetesidir. Yapilan basin taramasi sonucunda elde edilen veriler isigi altinda sehrin sosyo-ekonomik yapisi degerlendirilmeye çalisilmistir. 1938-1948 yillari arasinda Afyonkarahisar’da Cumhuriyetin kurumsallasmasi, halkevi ve belediye faaliyetleri dolayisiyla önemli çalismalar yapilmistir. Bu gün sehirdeki pek çok yapi o yillara aittir. O yillari etraflica anlatan eser bulunmamakla birlikte yerel basindan Haber gazetesinde sehir hayatina dair önemli bilgiler bulunmaktadir. Sehirdeki tüm siyasi, ekonomik, sosyal ve kültürel gelismeler Haber gazetesi ekseninde incelenmistir. Bu dönemde Afyon’da yasananlar Ismet Inönü dönemindeki sosyo-kültürel ve ekonomik duruma isik tutabilir.

The aim of this research is to gain knowledge about social and economic structure of Afyonkarahisar with scanning and analyzing “Haber” Newspaper. In this research, “Haber” Newspaper between the years of 1938-1948 is used as historical source. The socio-cultural structure of Afyonkarahisar is examined with the help these data. The process of Republican institutionalization can be observed in Afyonkarahisar between the years of 1938-1948 both in the facilities of People Houses and the Afyonkarahisar manicupality. At he present day, many important buildings belong to these years. There is no detailed studies related to the process of Republican institutionalization in Afyonkarahisar. But “Haber” Newspaper gives many signficant information about the process in Afyonkarahisar. Thus, all political, economic, social and cultural developments was examined by focusing on “Haber” Newspaper. The study related to years between 1938-194 in Afyonkarahisar can be clarified the socio-cultural and economic atmosphere in Ismet Inonü Era and the first years of Republican Period.
