Sağlık hizmetleri meslek yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin dijital sağlık kavramına yönelik bilişsel yapılarının incelenmesi

Abstract

Dijital sağlık, sağlığı ve sağlık hizmetlerini geliştirmek amacıyla bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerinin dönüştürücü gücünün kullanılması şeklinde tanımlanmaktadır. Çalışmada dijital sağlık taraflarından biri olarak geleceğin sağlık çalışanları olacak Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksekokulu (SHMYO) öğrencilerinin “dijital sağlık” kavramına yönelik bilişsel yapılarının incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda öğrencilerin dijital sağlıkla ilgili bilişsel yapılarını incelemek için nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomenoloji deseni kullanılarak bağımsız kelime ilişkilendirme testi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın evrenini Bilecik Şeyh Edebali Üniversitesi SHMYO 2. sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem seçilmemiş olup, evrenin tamamına ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında 72 kelimeden oluşan 1330 kelime veri setinin frekans analizi sonuçlarına göre en çok tekrar eden ilk on kelime sırasıyla “teknoloji, tanı teşhis, tedavi, sağlık, tıbbi cihaz, MHRS, kolaylık, internet, akıllı bileklik ve bilgi edinme” dir. SHMYO öğrencilerinin dijital sağlık kavramı ile ilgili verdikleri yanıtlardan oluşan veri setine (Kelimeler ve oluşturulan cümleler) göre araştırmacılar tarafından “Dijital Sağlığın Tarafları”, “Dijital Sağlık Özellikleri”, “Dijital Sağlık Teknolojileri (8 alt tema)”, “Dijital Sağlık Algısı (4 alt tema)” ve “Dijital Sağlık Hizmetleri” olmak üzere 5 ana tema oluşturulmuştur. Öğrencilerin Dijital sağlık kavramının özelliklerini, taraflarını, dijital sağlık teknolojilerini ve hizmetlerini bildikleri görülmüştür. Bu kapsamda SHMYO öğrencilerinin dijital sağlıkla ilgili farkındalıklarının yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. SHMYO öğrencilerinin dijital sağlık ile ilgili bilgi ve farkındalık düzeylerini artmaya yönelik çalışmaların yapılması ve gerekli eğitimlerin müfredata dahil edilmesi önerilmektedir.

Digital health is defined as the use of transformative power of information and communication technologies to improve health and health services. In the study, it is aimed to examine the cognitive structures of the Health Services Vocational School (HSVS) students, who will be the health workers of the future as one of the parties of digital health, towards the concept of "digital health". For this purpose, an independent word association test was used by using phenomenology design, one of the qualitative research methods, to examine the cognitive structures of students related to digital health. The universe of the study consists of Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University HSVS 2nd year students. The sample was not selected and it was tried to reach the whole population. According to the frequency analysis results of the 1330 word data set consisting of 72 words within the scope of the research, the top ten most repeated words are respectively "technology, diagnosis, diagnosis, treatment, health, medical device, MHRS, convenience, internet, smart bracelet and information acquisition". According to the data set (Words and sentences created) consisting of answers given by HSVS students about the concept of digital health, "Parties of Digital Health", "Digital Health Features", "Digital Health Technologies (8 sub-themes)", "Digital Health Perception (4 sub-themes)". sub-theme)” and “Digital Health Services”, 5 main themes were created. It has been seen that the students know the features, sides, digital health technologies and services of the concept of digital health. In this context, it has been determined that HSVS students have a high awareness of digital health. It is recommended to carry out studies to increase the knowledge and awareness levels of HSVS students about digital health and to include the necessary training in the curriculum.
