| dc.description | Ulrich Beck is one of the thinkers who describes the problems of today's society with "Risk Society Theory". Beck says that the impact of globalization on the duality of security-freedom in today's society is great. Infact, individuals live in an atmosphere of fear with the influence of globalization. The horror atmosphere in which human beings live is a worldfull of various risks, threats and dangers. This atmosphere of horror is a phenomenon that continues to be influential, although it has taken different forms from past to present. All these reasons, this study is curicial. In this article, U. Beck's risk society theory is explained in the theoretical framework of how and in which areas the security and freedom dilemma in today's societies manifests itself using the historical screening model and the document review technique. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Ulrich Beck, “Risk Toplum Teorisi” ile günümüz toplumlarının yaşadığı sorunları en iyi biçimde açıklayan düşünürlerden biridir. Beck, günümüz toplumlarında yaşanan güvenlik ve özgürlük ikileminde küreselleşmenin etkisinin büyük olduğunu söylemektedir. Küreselleşmenin etkisiyle bireyler, adeta korku atmosferinde yaşamaktadır. İnsanoğlunun içinde yaşadığı bu korku atmosferi, çeşitli risk, tehdit ve tehlikelerle dolu bir dünyayı ifade etmektedir. Bu korku atmosferi, geçmişten günümüze farklı şekiller alsa da, halen etkisini sürdüren bir olgudur. Tüm bu nedenler, yapılan çalışmayı önemli hale getirmektedir. Bu makalede U. Beck’ in risk toplum teorisi bağlamında tarihsel tarama modeli ve doküman incelemesi tekniği kullanılarak, günümüz toplumlarında yaşanan güvenlik ve özgürlük ikileminin hangi alanlarda nasıl tezahür ettiği değerlendirilmektedir. | en_US |
