Abstract

Konusunu tarihten alan edebî eserler, tarihçiler için vazgeçilmez bir malzemedir. Tarih ilmiyle uğraşanlar bu tip tahkiyeli eserlere toplumsal değişmeler ve tarih felsefesi açısından bakmalıdır. Toplumun siyasî, sosyal ve kültürel coğrafyasını çok güçlü bir şekilde çizen tarihî tahkiyeli eserler, verildiği toplumun âdeta birer göstergesidir. Türk tarihinin uzak dönemlerini eserlerine konu edinen sanatkârlar için tarihî malzeme, düşüncelerini ve özellikle siyasî endişelerini anlatmak bakımından çok iyi bir kaynak ve zemin olmuştur. Eserlerin büyük bir çoğunluğu millî tarih ve kimlik bilinci geliştirmeyi amaçlar.
