Pandemi döneminde bireyle Psikolojik Danışma Uygulaması dersi deneyimi: fenomenolojik bir araştırma

Abstract

Mevcut araştırmanın amacı uzaktan eğitim yöntemiyle yürütülen Bireyle Psikolojik Danışma Uygulaması dersinin ve bu ders kapsamında verilen süpervizyon sürecine ilişkin psikolojik danışman adaylarının deneyimlerinin belirlenmesidir. Bu çalışma, nitel araştırmalardan fenomenolojik araştırma deseninin betimleyici fenomenoloji alt türünde tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcıları ölçüt örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenmiştir. Çalışma grubunda yer alan katılımcılar 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılı güz döneminde bireyle psikolojik danışma uygulaması dersini uzaktan eğitim yöntemiyle alan lisans öğrencileri arasından seçilen ve gönüllü olan 16 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma verileri nitel veri toplama yöntemlerinden odak grup görüşmesi yöntemiyle elde edilmiştir. Bireyle Psikolojik Danışma Uygulaması dersinin kapsamının; dersin gereklilikleri, başarı ölçütü ve verimlilik temalarında toplandığı belirlenmiştir. Süpervizyon yönteminde genellikle bireysel veya grup süpervizyonunun kullanıldığı görülmüştür. Süpervizörün benimsediği modellerin ise psikolojik danışma kuramına dayalı, gelişimsel, otoriter-yönlendirici model ve yüzeysel yönlendirici olmayan model alt temalarında toplandığı belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca süpervizörün psikolojik danışman adayları için zamanında geribildirim vermesinin önemli olduğu görülmüştür. Bireyle Psikolojik Danışma Uygulaması dersini çevrimiçi yöntemle alan daha geniş örneklemli (birden fazla üniversiteden elde edilen verilerle) nicel çalışmaların yapılması alana katkı sağlayacaktır.

The aim of the current research is to determine the experiences of the counselor candidates regarding the individual counseling practice course conducted with the distance education method and the supervision process given within the scope of this course. This study was designed in the descriptive phenomenology sub-type of the phenomenological research design from qualitative research. The participants of the study were determined by criterion sampling method. Participants in the study group were selected from among undergraduate students who took the individual counseling practice course by distance education in the fall semester of the 2020-2021 academic year, 16 volunteer students participated. The scope of the individual counseling practice course; It was determined that the course requirements were collected under the themes of success criteria and productivity. It has been observed that individual or group supervision is generally used in the supervision method. It was determined that the models adopted by the supervisor were collected in the sub-themes of developmental, authoritative-directive model and superficial non-directive model based on counseling theory. In addition, it was considered important that the supervisor gave timely feedback to the counselor candidates. It may be recommended to conduct quantitative studies with larger samples (with data obtained from more than one university) that take the individual counseling practice course online.
