Ortaöğretimde muhasebe ve finansman alanını tercih eden öğrencilerin meslek algılamaları üzerine bir araştırma

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye'deki ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin muhasebe ve finansman alanındaki meslek algılarına yönelik tutumlarının ve tercihlerinin belirlenmesidir. Çalışma kapsamında öğrencilerin muhasebe mesleğine yönelik algıları, meslekle ilgili bilgi düzeyleri, mesleğe yönelik ilgi ve motivasyonları, meslek seçiminde etkili olan faktörler ve mesleğe yönelik tercihleri incelenmiştir. Çalışma, ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin muhasebe mesleğine yönelik tutumlarını ve tercihlerini belirlemek için yapılmıştır. Bu çalışma, meslek seçimlerinde öğrencilerin tutumlarının ve tercihlerinin önemli bir faktör olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Özellikle, muhasebe ve finansman alanı gibi bazı meslekler hakkında yanlış algılar veya yanlış bilgiler öğrencilerin tercihlerini etkileyebilmektedir. Bu nedenle, bu çalışma ile öğrencilerin muhasebe ve finansman alanları hakkındaki doğru bilgilere sahip olmalarını sağlamasıda amaçlanmıştır. Ayrıca, mesleki eğitimdeki yeniliklerin öğrencilerin meslek seçimlerine etkisini de değerlendiren bu çalışma, mesleki eğitim politikalarının geliştirilmesine katkıda bulunabilir. Çalışma sonucunda, öğrencilerin muhasebe mesleğine yönelik tutumlarının genel olarak olumlu olduğu ve muhasebe mesleğini tercih etme nedenlerinin başında iş güvencesi ve maddi kazançlar geldiği belirlenmiştir. Ancak, öğrencilerin muhasebe mesleği hakkında yeterli bilgiye sahip olmadıkları ve mesleğin sadece hesap işlerinden ibaret olduğu algısının hakim olduğu görülmüştür.

The purpose of this study is to determine the attitudes and preferences of secondary school students in Turkey towards their professional perceptions in the field of accounting and finance. Within the scope of the study, students' perceptions of the accounting profession, their level of knowledge about the profession, their interest and motivation for the profession, factors affecting their choice of profession, and their preferences for the profession were examined. The study was conducted to determine secondary school students' attitudes and preferences towards the accounting profession. This study reveals that students' attitudes and preferences are important factors in career choices. In particular, misperceptions or misinformation about some professions such as accounting and finance can affect students' choices. Therefore, this study aims to ensure that students have accurate information about accounting and finance fields. In addition, this study, which evaluates the impact of innovations in vocational education on students' career choices, may contribute to the development of vocational education policies. As a result of the study, it was determined that students' attitudes towards the accounting profession were generally positive and the main reasons for choosing the accounting profession were job security and financial gains. However, it has been observed that students do not have sufficient knowledge about the accounting profession and the perception that the profession consists only of accounting works prevails.
