Yahudilikte diaspora tecrübeleri ve diaspora yahudilerinin kutsal toprak anlayışı

Abstract

Yahudilikte Diaspora Tecrübeleri ve Diaspora Yahudilerinin Kutsal Toprak Anlayışı başlığına sahip bu tez üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Tezin birinci bölümünde diaspora/sürgün kavramının mâhiyeti ve Yahudilikteki konumu açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu konuda özellikle Batı’da ve kısmen ülkemizde yapılmış tanımlardan ve tartışmalardan yararlanılmıştır. Bunun yanında diaspora kavramının Yahudilikte benzer kullanımları olan galut, gola, gala kavramları açıklanarak Yahudi tarihinde yaşanan Mısır, Asur, Babil ve Roma diaspora tecrübeleri hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Ayrıca Yahudi tarihinde yaşanan sürgünlerin Yahudilerin zihninde ne anlama geldiği açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Tezin ikinci bölümünde Yahudi diasporasının Yahudi temel inanç ve ibadetine etkileri ve Yahudilerin diasporadaki durumları açıklanmıştır. Bu bağlamda Yahudilerin Müslüman ve Hıristiyan yönetimlerdeki durumları ele alındığı gibi Yahudilerin İslâm ve Hıristiyanlık hakkındaki algılarına yer verilmiştir. Tezin üçüncü bölümü diasporadan dönüşteki Yahudi yaşamı ve algısına ayrılmıştır. Bu konuda Yahudilerin diaspora sonrası vadedilmiş topraklara dönüşü ve orada yaptıkları faaliyetlerden bahsedilmiştir. Bunun yanında Yahudilerin diasporadan döndükten sonra hem İsrail toplumu hem de Yahudiler dışındaki halkla olan çatışma noktalarına değinilmiş ve Yahudilerin karşılaştıkları bu problemlere çözüm olarak arkeolojiyi kullandıkları anlatılmıştır. Sonuç kısmında diasporanın Yahudilikteki yeri ve etkileri hakkında çıkarılan bulgular sunulmuştur.

This thesis, titled Diaspora Experiences in Judaism and the Understanding of the Sacred Land of Diaspora Jews, consists of three sections. The first section of the thesis attempts to explain the nature of the concept of diaspora/exile and its position in Judaism. Definitions and discussions made particularly in the West and partly in our country have been utilized on this subject. In addition, the concepts of galut, gola, and gala, which are similar uses of the concept of diaspora in Judaism, are explained, and information is provided on the Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, and Roman diaspora experiences experienced in Jewish history. In addition, it is attempted to explain what the exiles experienced in Jewish history mean in the minds of the Jews. The second section of the thesis explains the effects of the Jewish diaspora on Jewish fundamental beliefs and worship, and the situation of the Jews in the diaspora. In this context, the situation of the Jews in Muslim and Christian administrations is discussed, as well as the perceptions of the Jews about Islam and Christianity. The third section of the thesis is devoted to Jewish life and perception upon return from the diaspora. In this section, the return of the Jews to the promised land after the diaspora and the activities they carried out there are mentioned. In addition, the points of conflict between the Jews and both the Israeli society and the non-Jewish people after their return from the diaspora are mentioned and it is explained that the Jews used archaeology as a solution to these problems they encountered. In the conclusion, the findings about the place and effects of the diaspora in Judaism are presented.
