Distopyalarda tabakalaşma tasavvuru bağlamında modern toplumun değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Distopyalar, toplumsal yaşamın geleceğine ilişkin olumsuz öngörüler ortaya koymaya çalışan kurgusal eserlerdir. Distopyalar, gelecekteki toplumsal dönüşümlerin insan ve toplum yaşamında meydana getirdiği değişimleri ve sorunları ele alması açısından önemli değerlendirmeler içermektedir. Değişimlerin hız kazandığı modern toplumda, insanlığın değişmez karakteristiği olan tabakalaşma olgusu da modern toplumlara özgü formlar meydana getirmiştir. Her ne kadar feodal düzen veya kast gibi örneklere göre daha esnek olduğu yönünde değerlendirmeler yapılsa da karmaşık birçok toplumsal tecrübeden de anlaşılacağı üzere, modern sınıf sistemi de oldukça sorunlu durumlar ortaya koymuştur. Kapitalist ekonomi veya totaliter siyasi rejimlerin birçoğu söz üretilen sorunlu tabaka olgusuna önemli ölçüde etkide bulunmuştur. Bu çalışma, modern toplumda yaşanılan tabakalaşma temelli sorunları distopik eserler özelinde çözümlemeye yönelmiş olup, çalışma sonucunda distopik eserlerde kurgulanan tabaka temelli bağlamların, modern insanın sorunlu sınıf gerçekliğine ilişkin olarak aydınlatıcı değerlendirmeler ihtiva ettiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Dystopias are fictional works that try to reveal negative predictions about the future of social life. Dystopias contain important evaluations in terms of addressing the changes and problems that future social transformations will bring about in human and social life. In modern society, where changes are accelerating, the phenomenon of stratification, which is an unchanging characteristic of humanity, has also created forms specific to modern societies. Although it is evaluated as being more flexible than examples such as feudal order or caste, as can be understood from many complex social experiences, the modern class system has also presented quite problematic situations. Many capitalist economies or totalitarian political regimes have had a significant impact on the problem layer phenomenon that has been produced. This study aims to analyze the stratification-based problems experienced in modern society, specifically in dystopian works, and as a result of the study, it has been concluded that the stratification-based contexts constructed in dystopian works contain enlightening evaluations regarding the problematic class reality of modern man.
