Türkmen gazete dilinin söz varlığı: Edebiýat we sungat gazetesi örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın konusu Türkmenistan'da yayımlanan "Edebiýat we Sungat" gazetesinde kullanılan söz varlığıdır. Bu gazete, hem Sovyetler döneminde hem de bağımsızlık döneminde yayımlanması ve özellikle edebiyat ve sanat konulu haberlere yer vermesi dolayısıyla bu çalışmanın konusu olmuştur. Amaç, Türkmen Türkçesinin en eski ve en önemli gazetelerinden biri olan "Edebiýat we Sungat" gazetesinin söz varlığını belirlemek suretiyle yazılı basın dilinde kullanılan sözcükleri ve kullanım sıklıklarını ortaya koymaktır. Bu gazete özelinde en çok kullanılan sözcüklerin listesini ortaya koymak yoluyla basın dili hakkında genel bir fikir elde edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bununla birlikte gazetede kullanılan gazetenin söz varlığının Türkmenistan’da bağımsızlık sonrası hazırlanmış olan “Türkmen Diliniň Düşündirişli Sözlügi’ndeki” temsil durumu sorgulanmıştır. Veriler, gazetenin 2023 yılında yayımlanan bütün sayılarından toplanmıştır. İnternet gazetesinden elde edilen metinler Word dosyasına dönüştürülmüş, kopyalama ve yazım hatalarından kaynaklanan yanlışlıklar düzeltilmiş ve Türkçe yazım kurallarına uygun olmayan işaretlemeler/metin dışı simgeler çıkarılmıştır. Hazırlanan metinler önce tek bir dosyada birleştirilerek kapsamlı bir genel sözcük listesi oluşturulmuştur. Bu liste temel alınarak sözcüklerin kullanım sıklıkları hesaplanmış ve sözcük türleri belirlenmiştir; buna göre, kaç adet isim, kaç adet fiil ve kaç adet görevli sözcük olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, sözcük listesinde yer almayan sözcükler ile Rusça alıntılar, ikilemeler ve özel isimler için ayrı listeler hazırlanmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra, gazete metinleri edebiyat, siyaset ve kültür-magazin olmak üzere üç ana başlık altında ayrılmış ve her başlık için ayrı kullanım sıklığı analizleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu çalışmayla gazetede kullanılıp güncel Türkmen Türkçesi sözlüğüne alınmamış sözcüklerin de tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmamız bu yönüyle sözlüğün yeni baskılarına katkı sağlayacaktır.

The subject of this study is the vocabulary used in the newspaper Edebiýat we Sungat, published in Turkmenistan. This newspaper was chosen as the subject of the study because it was published both during the Soviet period and the independence period, and particularly because it features news on literature and art. The aim is to identify the vocabulary of Edebiýat we Sungat, one of the oldest and most important newspapers of Turkmen Turkish, and thereby to reveal the words used in the written press language and their frequencies of use. By presenting a list of the most frequently used words specific to this newspaper, it is aimed to obtain a general idea about the press language. In addition, the representation of the vocabulary used in the newspaper in the Türkmen Diliniň Düşündirişli Sözlügi, which was prepared in Turkmenistan after independence, has been questioned. The data were collected from all issues of the newspaper published in 2023. The texts obtained from the online newspaper were converted from PDF to Word format, and errors resulting from copying and typographical mistakes were corrected. Non-standard characters and symbols inconsistent with Turkish orthography were removed. The cleaned texts were then merged into a single file to create a comprehensive general word list. Based on this list, the frequencies of words were calculated and their types identified, determining the number of nouns, verbs, and function words. Additionally, words not included in the list, Russian borrowings, reduplications, and proper names were compiled into separate lists. Furthermore, the newspaper texts were categorized under three main sections: literature, politics, and culture/entertainment, and frequency analyses were performed for each category. With this study, words that are used in the newspaper but not included in the current dictionary of Turkmen Turkish were also identified. In this respect, our study will contribute to the new editions of the dictionary.
