Tiebout tipi bir modelde duopson durumu

Abstract

Geleneksel ekonomi teorisinin aksine bu modelde, tüketiciler satan taraf ve A ve B gibi iki mahalli idarenin de alan taraf olduğunu kabul etmekteyiz. Yani bir "duopson" (iki alıcı) durumu mevcuttur. Tiebout tipi bir modelde* 1 A ve B gibi iki yerel yönetim, gelir vergisi gelirlerini azamileştirmek için sakin rekabetine başlamışlardır. İskan edenler de faydalarını maksimize etmeye çalışmaktadırlar.

In contrary to conventional Economics theory, we assume, in this model that consumers are sellers and such local goverments as A and B are buyers. That is, in this model a "duopsony" type market structure exists. In order to maximize their revenues, A and B are competing with each other for residents (consumers) in a Tiebout type model. At the same time, residents are also trying to maximize their total utilities.
