Şubat/2001 ekonomik krizinin Afyon mermer ve gıda sektöründeki işletmelerin çalışma sermayeleri üzerindeki etkileri

Abstract

Çalışmada Şubat/2001 ekonomik krizinin, Afyon’da mermer ve gıda sektörlerinde faaliyet gösteren işletmelerin Çalışma Sermayeleri üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Bu konuda yorum yapabilmek için, Çalışma Sermayesi, Ekonomik Kriz konuları teorik olarak anlatılmış ve Türkiye’de 2001 yılında yaşanan Ekonomik Krizin gelişimi aktarılmıştır. Ayrıca Afyon Mermer ve Gıda Sektörleri ile, çalışmada finansal tabloları veri olarak kullanılan 13 adet mermer, 15 adet gıda işletmesi hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Bu işletmelerin, 1997-2002 yılları finansal tabloları analize hazır hale getirilmiş ve daha sonra değişik finansal analiz metodları kullanılarak; özellikle Çalışma Sermayelerinin krizden hangi oranda etkilendikleri araştırılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda, her iki sektörde faaliyet gösteren işletmelerin Çalışma Sermayelerinin, 2001 yılında yaşanan ekonomik krizden olumsuz etkilendiği görülmüştür.

This dissertation aims at finding out the effects of February/2001 economic crisis on working capital elements of firms that have operations in marble and food sector in Afyon. To analyze this subject, the subjects of working capital and Economic Crisis were explained theoretically and the process of economic crisis which was witnessed in Turkey in 2001 was mentioned. Furthermore, information about Afyon Marble and Food Sectors and 13 marble and 15 food firms, whose financial tables were used as data, was given. The financial tables of these sectors between the years of 1997-2001 were made ready to be analyzed and then, by using different financial analysis methods, to what extent, particulary, working capitals were effected by the crisis was searched. In the end of the dissertation, it was seen that the economic crisis witnessed in 2001 had a negative effect on working capital elements of firms having operations in both sectors.
