Türkiye’de Cumhuriyet Dönemi Seramik

Abstract

Seramik, ateşin bulmasından bu yana süre gelen en önemli materyal olmuştur. İnsanoğlu bazen ihtiyaçları gereği, bazen de kendini ifade etmek için toprağa şekil vermiş, pişirmiş ve kullanmıştır. Biblo da tam bu süreçte dini ihtiyaçları karşılamak için ortaya çıkmıştır. Toplumlar inanışları gereği bazı dönemlerde pişmiş topraktan heykelcikler yapmış ve onlara çeşitli anlamlar yüklemiştir. Osmanlı Döneminde önceleri resim ve figürlerin yasak oluşu nedeniyle seramik biblolar yoktu. Cumhuriyetin ilanı ile birlikte Avrupa’nın da etkisiyle modernleşen Türkiye’de de biblo üretimi yapılmaya başlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada Anadolu’da Cumhuriyet Dönemin de seramik biblolar araştırılmış, teknikler ve süsleme özellikleri incelenmiş sonucunda da bugünkü mevcut durum irdelenmiştir.
