İlköğretim Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği Son Sınıf Öğrencilerinin Öğretmenlik Mesleğine Verdikleri Değer ve Mesleki Yeterlilikleri

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı; İlköğretim Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği Son Sınıf Öğrencilerinin Öğretmenlik Mesleğine Verdikleri Değeri Ve Mesleki Yeterlilikleri üst düzeye çıkarabilmeleri konusunda karşılaşılan problemleri Uşak Üniversitesi öğrencilerinin görüşleri doğrultusunda tespit ederek, bu problemi ortadan kaldırmak için neler yapılabileceğini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmanın çalışma evrenini Uşak ilinde yeni kurulan Uşak Üniversitesinde 2006-2007 eğitim öğretim yılında öğrenim hayatlarının son yılını yaşayan Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği Bölümü Son Sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Öğrencilere 50 sorudan oluşan bir anket uygulanmıştır. Anket üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm öğretmenlerinin kişisel bilgilerini, ikinci bölüm öğrencilerin konu ile ilgili tutumlarını ölçmeye yönelik sorular içermektedir. Üçüncü bölüm ise öğrencilerin problemi çözmek için görüşlerini öğrenmek ve mevcut durumu tespit etmek amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Anket sonuçları bilgisayarda SPSS 15.0 istatistik programı yardımıyla frekans, yüzde, t ve f testi teknikleri kullanılarak çözümlenmiştir. Çoklu varyasyon (Anlamlılık ) testlerinde a:0.05 düzeyi esas alınmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği son sınıf öğrencilerinin meslek hayatlarında daha duyarlı ve yeterli bilgiye sahip olabilmesi anket sorularındaki tutum ve görüşlerle ortaya konulmuş ve çözüm önerileri getirilmeye çalışılmıştır.

The main goal of this research is to determine the value, which the students of primary school social sciences teaching department have for teaching profession, their professional adequecy and the problems they confront while increasing this value by taking into account the opinions of students of Usak University and to clarify what to do to prevent these problems. A fifty-question survey has been applied to senior students of Primary School Social Sciences Department of Usak University which has been just founded, in 2006-2007 education year in Usak city universe. The survey has three parts. The first part involves department teachers’ personal information and the second part involves the questions which measure students’ attitudes to the subject. The third part has also been prepared to learn the students’ ideas to solve the problem and determine the existing situation. The results of the survey has been resolved by the help of SPSS statistics programme at computer by using frequency, per cent, t and f test techniques. a:0.05 level has been taken into account at multiple variation (meaningness) tests. As a consequence of the research it has been brought about that the senior students of Primary School Social Sciences Department to be more sensible and to have adequate information at their vocational life by the attitudes and ideas at the survey and tried to present suggestions.
