Şike Soruşturmasının Borsa İstanbul’da İşlem Gören Kulüplerin Hisse Senetlerine Etkisi

Abstract

Günümüzde spor ekonomisinin hızlı gelişimi bu alanda birçok etiksel konuyu da beraberinde getirmiştir. Avrupa başta olmak üzere tüm dünyada etkisini gösteren şike ve teşvik primi konusu ülkemizde de Nisan 2011 de 6222 sayılı kanun ile yasalaştırılarak suç haline getirilmiştir. Bu yasaya dayanarak başlatılan bu soruşturmanın spor kulüplerinin ekonomilerini ve marka değerlerini büyük ölçüde etkilediği ileri sürülmektedir. Bu çalışma, başlatılan bu soruşturmanın konusundan ve hukuksal içeriğinden bağımsız olarak sadece Borsa İstanbul’da yer alan spor kulüplerinin hisse senetlerinde meydana getirdiği davranış değişikliklerini görmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, bu soruşturmanın tarafı olan ve Borsa İstanbul’da işlem gören spor kulüplerinin hisse senetlerinde dikkate değer önemli davranış değişikleri görülebilmektedir.

Nowadays the rapid development of sports industry brought about many ethical issues. Match fixing and incentive premium that cause deep impact throughout the world, especially in Europe, have been defined as a crime by enacting thereof with Law No.6222 on April 2011. About the investigation initiated based on this law, it is claimed that the match fixing investigation substantially affected the economies and brand values of the sports clubs. Regardless of the legal content of this investigation, this study is to carried out to see only behavioral changes this investigation caused in the shares of the sport clubs regestered in Istanbul Stock Exchange. This study demonstrates important behavioral changes occurring in the sports clubs involved in the match fixing investigation and share certificates of which are traded in Istanbul Stock Exchange.
