| dc.description.abstract | Bu araştırmada STEM içerikli uygulamalarla işlenen 4. Sınıf Fen Bilimleri dersinin öğrencilerin STEM mesleklerine, algılarına ve tutumlarına etkisini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın uygulaması 2017-2018 eğitim - öğretim yılı 2. döneminde Afyonkarahisar Emirdağ İlçesi’nde yer alan Gömü İlkokulu’nun 4/A şubesinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma eylem araştırması biçiminde desenlenmiştir. Veri toplama araçları olarak; STEM Tutum Testi, STEM Algı Testi, STEM Mesleki İlgi Ölçeği, yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme, video kayıtları, araştırmacı ve öğrenci günlükleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada STEM uygulamalarının, öğrencilerin STEM mesleklerine ilgisini, algılarını ve tutumlarını olumlu yönde artırdığı belirlenmiştir. Uygulama sonunda öğrencilerin fen, teknoloji, mühendislik ve matematik alanlarını bütünleşik algıladıkları; STEM uygulamalarını eğlenceli buldukları; STEM uygulamalarının öğrencilerin eleştirel düşünme, işbirliği, yaratıcılık ve iletişim gibi 21. yüzyıl becerilerine katkıda bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | In this study, it was aimed to identify the effects of 4th grade science courses conducted with STEM implementations on the perception and attitude of students towards STEM professions. The application of the study was carried out on the second semester of the 2017-2018 academic year in class 4/A of Gömü Primary School in Emirdağ district of Afyonkarahisar. The study was designed in the form of action research. As data collection tools; STEM Attitude Test, STEM Perception Test, STEM Professional Interest Scale, semi-structured interview, video recordings, researcher and student diaries were used. In the study, it was determined that STEM implementations positively increased the interest, perception and attitudes of students towards STEM occupations. At the end of the implementations it was determined that students perceived the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics as integrated; that they found STEM implementations to be fun; and that STEM applications contributed to 21st century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication. | en_US |
