Okul öncesi öğretmen adaylarının iletişim becerileri ile empatik eğilimleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi (Afyonkarahisar ili örneklemi)

Abstract

Bu çalışma okul öncesi öğretmen adaylarının iletişim becerileri ve empatik eğilimlerini çeşitli değişkenlere göre incelenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma 2018-2019 Eğitim-Öğretim yılının güz döneminde Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesinin Eğitim Fakültesinde öğrenim gören 375 okul öncesi öğretmen adayı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada Betimsel Araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. 375 adet okul öncesi öğretmen adayından toplanan veriler, SPSS paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda İletişim Becerileri ölçeğinden alınan puanlar ile Empatik Eğilim ölçeğinden alınan puanların ortalamaları arasında ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Okul öncesi öğretmen adaylarının iletişim becerileri ve empatik eğilimlerinin sınıf düzeyine göre incelendiğinde pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki gözlenirken, anne eğitim durumuna ve baba eğitim durumuna göre anlamlı ilişki görülmemiştir (p=0,001, p<0,05).

This study was conducted to examine the relationship between empathic tendency and communication skills in pre-school teacher candidates according to various variables. The research was carried out with 375 pre-primary teacher candidates in Afyon Kocatepe University in the fall semester of 2018-2019 academic year. Relational screening model was used as a research model. Descriptive Research method was used in the study. The data collected from 375 preschool teacher candidates were analyzed with SPSS package program. As a result of the analysis, a relationship was found between the scores obtained from the Communication Skills scale and the mean scores of the Empathic Tendency scale. When the communication skills and empathic tendencies of the preschool teacher candidates were examined according to class level, a significant positive relationship was observed, but no significant relationship was found between the mother's education level and the father's education level (p = 0.001, p <0.05).
