Üzeyir Gündüz’ün çocuk kitaplarındaki eğitsel değerler

Abstract

Çocuğun kişiliğinin, ruhunun ve bilincinin gelişmesinde çocuk kitaplarına büyük pay düşmektedir. Çocuğun gelişmeye başlaması anne karnında başlar. Yani çocuk ilk eğitimini aileden alır. Kişiliği, ruhu, bilinci ve yapısı ailenin temel taşlarıyla inşa edilir. Daha sonra ise bu şekillenme okulla beraber devam eder. Eğitim sayesinde çocuk yeni bir dil öğrenir ve yeni bir kimlik kazanır. Bu dil ve kimliğin kazanılmasında Türkçe kitapları, edebiyat ve çocuk kitapları büyük öneme sahiptir. Çocuk, aileden ve kitaplardan edindiği değerler aracılığıyla hayatına yön verir. Bu çalışmada günümüz çocuk edebiyatçılarından olan Üzeyir Gündüz’ün on dört kitabındaki eğitsel değerler; evrensel, millî, dinî, kişisel ve ahlaki değerler olarak sınıflandırılmış ve ortaya konmuştur.

Children’s books have a big share in the development of the child’s personality, spirit and consciousness. The development of the child begins in the womb. So the child gets his first education from the family. Personality, spirit, consciousness and structure are built with the foundation stones of the family. Then this formation continues with the school. Through education, the child learns a new language and gains a new identity. Turkish books, literature and children’s books have great importance in acquiring this language and identity. The child guides his life through the values he has gained from his family and books. In this study, the educational values in fourteen books of Üzeyir Gündüz, one of the contemporary children’s writers; classified as universal, national, religious, personal and are revealed.
