Türk siyasal hayatındaki gelişmelerin politik mizaha yansıması: 'Akbaba Dergisi' örneği (1922-1977)

Abstract

Politik mizah, doğası gereği eleştirel bir bakış açısına sahiptir. Bu eleştiri; iktidardan muhalefete tüm siyasal aktörlere yöneliktir. Türk siyasal hayatının her döneminde yönetim sistemi değişiklikleri, liderler ve uyguladıkları yönetim biçimleri, seçim sistemleri, darbeler ve akabinde oluşturulan anayasalar toplumsal hayatı şekillendirmiştir. Bu tez çalışmasında, Türk Siyasal Hayatında yaşanan gelişmelerin politik mizaha yansıması incelenmiştir. Cumhuriyet tarihinin en uzun soluklu mizah dergisi olan, 1922-1977 yılları arasında Orhan Seyfi Orhon ve Yusuf Ziya Ortaç tarafından yayımlanan Akbaba dergisi ele alınmış; Türk siyasal hayatında yaşanan gelişmelerin dergideki yazı ve karikatürlerde nasıl yer bulduğu incelenerek günümüz Türk siyaseti ile olan bağlantısı tartışılmıştır.

Political humor intrinsically has a critical perspective. This criticism is directed at all the political actors from the government in power to the opposition. In every period of the Turkish political life, the changes in the administrative system, the leaders and the forms of governance they implement, the electoral systems, the coups and the constitutions formed afterwards, have shaped the social life. In this thesis, the reflection of developments in Turkish political life to the political humor is examined. The Akbaba magazine, the longest-running humor magazine in the history of the Republic and published by Orhan Seyfi Orhon and Yusuf Ziya Ortaç between 1922 and 1977, was discussed and the developments in Turkish political life that took place in the writings and caricatures of the magazine is discussed by examining their connections to today’s Turkish politics..
