Müfessir Celal Yıldırım’ın ilmî çalışmaları, kur’ân tasavvuru ve din eğitimi hakkındaki görüşleri

Abstract

Bu çalışma Cumhuriyet dönemi âlim ve müfessirlerinden Celal Yıldırım’ın hayatı ve ilmî çalışmaları ile Kur’ân tasavvuru ve din eğitimi hakkındaki bazı görüşlerini konu edinmektedir. Celal Yıldırım bir tefsir sahibi olması açısından müfessir, yıllarca müftülük yapması bakımından din eğitimcisi, dinî ilimlerin çeşitli alanlarında eserler kaleme alması yönüyle düşünür ve yazar olması açısından birkaç hususiyeti şahsında temsil etmektedir. Bu bakımdan onun zihnî dünyasının yönelimleri ve düşünce birikiminin tartışılması son derece önem taşımaktadır. Zira Yıldırım’ın, yetişme koşullarından içinde bulunduğu iklimlere kadar entelektüel serüveninin bazı yönlerden ele alınması Cumhuriyet Türkiye’sini dinî ve ilmî açılardan değerlendirebilme konusunda bir nebze yardımcı olacaktır. Yıldırım, Cumhuriyet dönemini ve devrimlerini yakından idrak etmiş birisi olarak büyük bir kültür değişimine uğrayan toplumun meselelerini iyi analiz etmiştir. Bu süreçte meydana gelen zarurî ve meşru değişimleri benimseyerek İslam dininin Türk toplumunda gereken yeri alabilmesi için yazdığı eserleriyle, irşad faaliyetleriyle yaygın din eğitimine önemli hizmetlerde bulunmuştur. Çalışmada üç aşamalı bir yol izlenmiştir. Bu çerçevede Yıldırım’ın hayatına kısaca değinildikten sonra ilmî çalışmaları değerlendirilmiş, ardından bir müfessir olarak Kur’ân tasavvuru ve bir eğitimci olarak din eğitimi hakkındaki görüşleri onun ilmî ve dinî birikiminin özü konumundaki İlmin Işığında Asrın Kur’ân Tefsiri isimli tefsiri merkeze alınarak irdelenmiştir.

This study is about the life and scientific studies of Celal Yıldırım, one of the scholars and interpreters of the Republic period, and some of his views on the imagination of the Qur'an and religious education. Celal Yıldırım, is a mufassir in terms of writing a tafsir, a religious educator in terms of being a mufti for years, a thinker and writer in terms of writing works in various fields of religious sciences, represents several characteristics in person. In this respect, it is extremely important to discuss the tendencies of his mental world and his intellectual codes. Addressing some aspects of intellectual adventures that turn his catch up to the climate conditions of the Republic of Turkey will help to evaluate a little bit about religious and scientific terms. Celal Yıldırım, as someone who witnessed the Republic period and its revolutions closely, analyzed the issues of the society that had undergone a great cultural change. By adopting the necessary and legitimate changes that took place in this process, he has provided important services to widespread religious education with his works and guiding activities in order for the religion of Islam to take the necessary place in Turkish society. A three-stage path was followed in the study. In this framework, after briefly mentioning the life of Yıldırım, his scientific studies were evaluated, then his views on the imagination of the Qur’an as a mufassir and religious education as an educator were examined. While doing this, his commentary named İlmin Işığında Asrın Kur’ân Tefsiri, which is the essence of his scientific and religious accumulation, was taken into the center.
