Necil Kâzım Akses’in tertip ettiği 11’inci Tümen Marşı üzerine bir inceleme

Abstract

Necil Kâzım Akses çağdaş Türkiye Cumhuriyeti vizyonunun yetiştirdiği, Türk müzik kültürü ve eğitimine büyük katkıları bulunan önemli bestecilerden biridir. Necil Kâzım Akses hayatı boyunca senfoni, opera, sonat, konçerto, suit, sahne müziği ve marş gibi çeşitli formlarda birçok esere imza atmıştır. Akses’in, bestelemiş olduğu Konservatuvar Marşı (Ulvi Cemal Erkin ile birlikte), Cumhuriyetin 50. Yıl Marşı, İzciler Marşı, Türkiye Marşı ve Birlik Marşı gibi eserlerden dolayı marş formuna yakınlığı bilinmektedir. Necil Kâzım Akses’in Türk müzik kültürüne kazandırdığı eserler içerisinde yer alan ve bugüne kadar hiç bilinmeyen 11’inci Tümen Marşı bu çalışmanın konusunu oluşturmaktadır. 11’inci Tümen, 1881 yılında kurulduktan sonra birçok muharebede görev almıştır. Türk İstiklal Harbi’nde de Batı Cephesi’nde bütün muharebelere katılmıştır. Bunlardan Başkomutan Meydan Muharebesi’nde ise Mustafa Kemal Paşa, muharebeyi 11’inci Tümen karargâhından komuta etmiş ve Büyük Taarruz’un zaferi, Zafertepe’de taçlandırılmıştır. Çalışmada 11’inci Tümen marşını tertip eden Necil Kâzım Akses’e ve marşa adını veren 11’inci Tümenin tarihine değinilmiştir. Çalışma, tarihi araştırma ve müziksel analiz yaklaşımları temel alınarak yürütülmüştür. Bu minvalde 11’inci Tümen Marşı’nın form, ezgi, teknik, ölçü ve dinamikler bakımından müzikal analizi yapılarak mevcut el yazması üzerinden marşın notasyonuna yönelik yorumlarda bulunulmuştur. Elde edilen veriler ışığında 11’inci Tümen Marşı’nın Necil Kâzım Akses’in kendine has titiz ve detaycı üslubuyla, ezgi ve eşlikte enstrümanlara verilen görevler, kullanılan nüanslar, staccato ve aksan gibi teknikler kapsamında orkestrasyon renklerinden faydalanılarak tertip edildiği gözlemlenmiştir.

Necil Kâzım Akses is one of the major composers raised by the vision of the modern Republic of Türkiye and made a great contribution to Turkish music culture and education. Throughout his life, Necil Kâzım Akses composed several works in various forms, including symphony, opera, sonata, concerto, suit, stage music, and anthem. It is known that Akses is close to the anthem form due to works such as the Conservatory Anthem (with Ulvi Cemal Erkin), the 50th Anniversary Anthem of the Republic, the Scout Anthem, the Türkiye Anthem and the Unity Anthem. The 11th Division Anthem, which is one of the works that Necil Kazım Akses brought to the Turkish music culture and has never been known until today, constitutes the subject of this study. The 11th Division took part in many battles after its establishment in 1881. In the Turkish War of Independence, it participated in all battles on the Western Front. In the Pitched Battle of the Commander-in-Chief, Mustafa Kemal Pasha commanded the battle from the headquarters of the 11th Division and the Great Offensive was crowned with triumph at Zafertepe. In the study, Necil Kâzım Akses, who arrengemented the anthem of the 11th Division, and the history of the 11th Division, which gave its name to the anthem, were mentioned. The study was executed based on historical research and musical analysis approaches. In this regard, musical analysis of the 11th Division Anthem was made in terms of form, melody, technique, measure, and dynamics, and discussions were put forward on the notation of the anthem through the current manuscript. In the light of the obtained data, it was observed that the 11th Division Anthem was arranged with Necil Kazım Akses' unique meticulous and detailed style, by making use of the colors of orchestration, the tasks assigned to the instruments in melody and accompaniment, the nuances used, the techniques such as staccato and accent.
